You will be received with such love to make you feel at home by our Ushering Team.

When people come to church they are sometimes burdened, sad or discouraged. Each person, member or newcomer, comes with the hope that our Services will be an experience of uplift and inspiration, a time of renewal and celebration. The skillful usher helps to make this a reality for those in attendance.

Although an usher’s love should be no stronger than is the love found in the rest of the body of Christ, nevertheless the usher performs a major role in ensuring that people see and experience that love. In Christ, you have received God’s unconditional love, and, in Christ, you are called to extend that same unconditional love to others. The ministry of ushering is one of the most crucial because it is one of the most visible in the church.

The usher is a personal representatives of Jesus Christ who meets people on a person-to-person basis when they arrive at the Church. It is a ministry to serve people as Jesus says in Mark 10:45 ”For even the son of man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Serving the Lord have different areas but yet all are equally important in the sight of God, just as ushering. Although it may seem unimportant and not respected by many, we are to place equal importance and dignify in this area of ministry as the Lord will honour.

Today, as the Church grow, this ministry also grow and even expand into other areas. Without the Usher Ministry, many other ministries in the Church cannot function effectively.
